Effect of Meteorological Parameters on the Performance of Photovoltaics Installed under the Guinea Savannah Atmosphere in Ogoja, Cross Rivers State, Nigeria

A thorough experimental investigation was carried out to study the effect of some meteorological parameters on performance photovoltaics installed under guinea savannah atmosphere in Ogoja, Cross River State, Nigeria by in-situ measurement approach using a precision digital solar power meter, an accurate hygrometer, infrared gun thermometer and high photovoltaic smart panel maximum point tracker (MPPT) tester track determine power, voltage current produced module. The result reveals that stability should be expected between relative humidity levels 67% 47% while erratic drop below which hinders PV module from attaining 100% efficiency. In addition, temperature location seems favorable as average will rarely exceed 400C for months besides January makes it possible attain 90% Also, with altitude 85m above sea level coupled fact early 9:00am is close 800W/m2 good site installation farm harvesting energy.
